It is with grateful and blessed hearts we welcome to our facility Dr. Elizabeth Farley. Dr. Elizabeth comes to us from Evansville, Indiana. She attended Western Kentucky University for her undergraduate degree and graduated from Auburn School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. We are so excited to welcome her to our God's Creatures family and look forward to what the future holds!
We are happy to introduce a product we are now carrying for heartworm prevention...Interceptor Plus. This chicken flavored chewable tablet is for puppies and dogs weighing 2 pounds or more and 6 weeks or older. In addition to preventing heartworms, Intercepetor Plus treats and controls hookworms, roundworms, whipworms, and tapeworms. Since we have added Interceptor, we are discontinuing Heartgard and Comfortis. We will sell the product until our stock is depleted.
We will continue to carry Trifexis (fleas/heartworm), Nexgard (fleas/ticks), K9 Advantage (kills and repels fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes), and Advantage Multi for cats(fleas, ear mites, roundworms, hookworms, and heartworms.)
Carrots for Healthy Teeth
The Daily Puppy published an article advocating carrots to aid in cleaning and protecting your dogs' mouths from plaque build-up. The article says, "A major benefit of chewing on carrots is that they massage your dog's gums and enhance blood flow to the gum tissues." Specific benefits of carrots include killing germs, preventing tooth damage, and removing dirt that becomes plaque. God's Creatures would love to challenge you to give your pets one baby carrot daily to help promote healthy teeth!
